Historicon and WBC Run Back-To-Back

2007 is a remarkable year for fans of minatures and board gaming! HISTORICON, historical miniature gaming's biggest summer vacation, and the World Boardgaming Championships (WBC), the convention where boardgamers come first, are running back to back at the Lancaster Host Resort in Lancaster, Pa., from July 26 through Aug. 5. It provides a great opportunity to explore both miniatures gaming and the boardgaming hobbies without paying for transportation twice.

Historicon is the historical miniatures gaming convention in the United States. Each year, thousands of avid gamers descend on scenic Lancaster, Pa., for what the New York Times has described as the "mother of all wargaming conventions." About 1500 people from around the world gather for WBC, run for boardgamers by boardgamers. Tournaments are king at WBC, but you need not be an expert player. Many events are designed for beginners. Also, there is a Juniors Program, Open Gaming, Auction, and more. Pre-Cons run July 29 - 31, with the main event underway from July 31 - Aug. 5. Don't miss the fun!
