WBC’s
Showcase Sampler—a Mentoring Event for newer games—kicks off at WBC on Tues., Aug. 2. The full week admission to the World Boardgaming Championships (WBC) includes the Sampler Showcase. There is NO ADDITIONAL COST to participate. There will be mentors to teach and play each of the games. It is for players of all ages with any gaming experience or interest and a great opportunity to try out games you have been wanting to learn or to enjoy a favorite game with new people. During 2011, players will enjoy:
- Access to the BPA Game Library, which has many new and classic games;
- Ability to make requests for games you would like to have available;
- Experienced staff of Game Mentors available for players wanting to learn games they have not tried before;
- Demonstrations of the latest game releases.
