Who will be the most successful knight in the kingdom? The tournaments will test knights of all ages, and only one will be victorious. Use your cards to win the jousting competitions, and to fight with your sword, axe or morning-star. Rally your squires, gain the support of a maiden, and play action cards against your opponents.

This year Ivanhoe will have three separate evening heats, with the Semifinal and Final on Friday. The classification will be B (Beginners welcomed) with a teaching demo before the first heat. The rules for the tournament play will be straight out of the box. Any game reaching 90-minutes will be adjudicated at that point, except for the Final round.

GUIDELINES FOR ADVANCEMENT Advancement will be based on the Heats Most Wins – Points standard tiebreakers. Ponts in a game will be determined as follows, with a maximum of 10 points earned in a game:

  • 1 point earned for game played
  • 1 point earned for each chip earned during play
  • 5 point max on a win
  • Additional 3 points for a win in your first heat
  • 1 point earned if a PURPLE chip was in your possession at game end
  • 1 point earned if that Purple chip was your first chip earned

HEATS: MOST WINS - POINTS (HMW-P):Tie-breakers are:

  1. Most Wins (e.g., total in all heats entered)
  2. Most Second Places
  3. Fewest total points behind first place in second place finishes. Not playing in a heat counts as an N/A for this criteria, not 0 points
  4. Fewest total points behind first place in all finishes. Not playing in a heat counts as an N/A for this criteria, not 0 points
  5. Fewest Heats
  6. High dice roll.
