Ra: The Dice Game is a simple game themed along the lines of Ra the auction game with Monuments, Pharoahs, Rivers, Civilizations, and Floods. However, the play style is something more like Yahtzee instead. Each player rolls five dice and has up to two rerolls to use to try to improve their result. The game takes place over 3 eras, and the one with the highest score at the end wins the game.

This event will have 4 heats, a quarterfinal, a semifinal, and final. Each table will have 4 players. The advancement to the quarterfinal will use the Heats Most Wins – Points standard tiebreakers. The top 64 players will advance to the quarterfinal.

Any ties in the heats themselves will simply allow multiple winners. For example, if the scores are 20, 20, 15, 15 there would be two winners and two third place finishes.

Ties in the quarterfinal, semifinal or final will be resolved by random die roll.

HEATS: MOST WINS - POINTS (HMW-P):Tie-breakers are:

  1. Most Wins (e.g., total in all heats entered)
  2. Most Second Places
  3. Fewest total points behind first place in second place finishes. Not playing in a heat counts as an N/A for this criteria, not 0 points
  4. Fewest total points behind first place in all finishes. Not playing in a heat counts as an N/A for this criteria, not 0 points
  5. Fewest Heats
  6. High dice roll.
