HMW-Points |
The Stone Age Tournament will consist of 3 heats of 4-player games (possibly up to three 3-player games)
The top 64 qualifiers will move on to the quarterfinal based o the Heats Most Wins – Points standard tiebreakers. If there are less than 64 for the semifinals, byes to the semifinals will be issued based on their ranking in the heats. A player must show up to the quarterfinal to receive a bye. The quarterfinal games will be seated in NCAA style according to players' rankings.
Quarterfinal winners and possibly individuals with byes in the quarterfinal will advance to a 16 player semifinal. Semifinal winners will advance to the 4-player Final.
Table assignments for the semifinal games will be assign players randomly to tables and will use bidding for seat turn order. The final will also use turn order bidding.
HEATS: MOST WINS - POINTS (HMW-P):Tie-breakers are:
- Most Wins (e.g., total in all heats entered)
- Most Second Places
- Fewest total points behind first place in second place finishes. Not playing in a heat counts as an N/A for this criteria, not 0 points
- Fewest total points behind first place in all finishes. Not playing in a heat counts as an N/A for this criteria, not 0 points
- Fewest Heats
- High dice roll.
