Formula De is a fast-paced racing game in which the race speeds are tempered with needing to end a certain number of turns in each curve of the racetrack. This can be tricky because although players can regulate their speeds by choosing which gear to be in and each gear allows a certain range of movement, the exact amount is determined randomly by the custom die for that gear.

Key Tournament Rules:

  • Advancement will be based on the Heats Most Wins Standard Tiebreakers
  • Heat Races will be pre-constructed cars running two-lap races.
  • Semifinal race(s) will be utilized based on the number of advancing players to fill out a Finals Starting Grid of 9 or 10 drivers.
  • The Final will be player-constructed cars in a three-lap final.

HEATS: MOST WINS - POINTS (HMW-P):

  1. Most Wins (e.g., total in all heats entered)
  2. Total Points – Players earn the following pints in each heat they entered:
    • 1st Place - 1,000 points
    • 2nd Place - 100 points
    • 3rd Place - 10 points
    • 4th Place - 1 points
    • All other places - 0 points
    • e.g. player has a 1st, 2nd, and 4th in three heats: total points would be 1,101
  3. GM Specific Tie-breaker:
    • Fewest total points behind 1st place in 1 race
    • Fewest total points behind 1st in all races
    • Fewest heats
  4. High dice roll.
