Come play WBC’s late night sensation, Las Vegas!
Step into the glitzy world of high-stakes casinos in this fast-paced, easy-to-learn dice game. Players act as gamblers competing for the biggest payouts across six casinos, each numbered 1 through 6 and stacked with randomly drawn money cards.
This will be a coached event, so no prior experience is required!
Don’t worry if you’ve never played before, we’ll teach you as you go. To give you a head start, here are the basics so you can feel prepared.
How to Play:
- Each player starts with eight dice in their own color
- On your turn, roll all your dice and choose one number you rolled. Place all dice showing that number onto the matching casino
- Keep rolling and placing until all players have used all their dice
Scoring:
At the end of the round, each casino pays out its top money card to the player with the most dice there. Second place gets the next card, and so on.
But beware: if you’re tied for the most dice, you get nothing—a twist that adds tension and strategy!
Play four rounds, and the player with the most money wins.
It’s quick, interactive, and full of risk-reward decisions that keep everyone engaged.
Please bring your copy of the game!
Tournament Format:
Round 1: No assigned seating. Players with a copy of the game set it up after signing in with the GM. Others join to fill tables to five players. Play begins once names and badges are recorded. If there’s a tie for first place, all tied players will advance to the next round (until the Final Round).
Round 2 onward: GM assigns tables of 5 players. 4- or 3-player games may be used to optimize player counts. If a third elimination round is needed, smaller tables will be used as necessary. Depending on player counts, the Final may feature just three players.
Final Round Tiebreaker (House Rules)
If two or more players are tied for the most money at the end of the game:
- The player with the highest number of banknotes wins
If still tied, the player with the most $10,000 banknotes takes the win
- If there’s still a tie, each tied player rolls a die, highest roll wins!
And most importantly… BRING a copy of the game if you have one!
