Succeeding is a risky business ...

The Tournament will consist of two rounds (estimated) with the winners of the games in each round advancing to the next one. Every effort will be made to keep the tables even. Four players being the ideal number. Should three-player tables be required, they will be seated at random. Each table is required to fill out the game card, indicating player name, badge number, who won, and how, as well as the total loyalty and victory points scored by each player at game end. These scores will be used to determine alternates who may advance in order to fill a table in the next round. So... if you score second at your table, check in with me, to see if you have the opportunity to advance. Cards are to be turned in by the winner to the GM.

Ties: Should a tie result, the winner will be determined by die roll. The loser of the roll will be given first consideration should an additional player be needed for the next round. My goal is to have a four-player game as the final round. These four
finalists will be chosen by using runner-ups as necessary. Errata from AH will be adhered to.

Variants from the General will not be used. Due to the extreme variations in the length of games, the time limits for each round will be strictly enforced. Should time expire, the round of card play will be completed (so that everyone played the same number of cards) and the game will be decided by highest total of victory and loyalty points. Understand that my assistants and I did not come here to adjudicate your game, and you came here to play. Try to keep all of us happy.

Just to re-iterate policy: Do not play in another tournament while playing in Successors. It's not fair to the other players at your
table. It is also not allowed under the rules of the convention. You will be dropped from my tournament if you do. See http://members.home.net/anomaly99/successors.htm for more details.
