Elk Lord Starts Another Streak

Ladies and gentle-elk, we are back again for a thrilling tournament of Elchfest! Six rounds were once more played out over the Mighty River by these Moose-y Maniacs. The Elchen Warriors have prepared themselves for the River War and kept the games going. Once more, a Monday night game has drawn the crowd, bringing our numbers up to 45.

The games are becoming faster and more abundant as more people are showing with games. Once more, byes were given but this allowed for Round 4 to have our top 6 contenders. Round 4 had both Roppolo's fighting for the Antlered Crown but both would be stricken down this round, Aaron against Holiday Saccenti and Rebecca against Elk-Lord David Meyaard. The other match saw Brandon Bernard clashing with Mevlan Imeri. Brandon Bernard defeated Mevlan Imeri and then took out an eliminator, readying him for the final round. Meanwhile, David Meyaard battled it out with Holiday Saccenti. After many nail-biting moments, Round 5 concluded and our final round came with David facing off against Brandon. The two squared off against each other as was tradition. Stones shot across the table in a fury of Elky grunts and Moose-y roars. Dust flew to distort the eyes; a hoof was seen here and an antler was seen there but in the end only one was triumphant.

The Mighty River is still under the control of Elk-Lord David Meyaard. Long may he reign.

The river is rising.
