Heinz Captures Las Vegas Crown!

Las Vegas once again delivered a dazzling kickoff to WBC’s opening night, just as it has in years past. This year’s player pool grew by 20, reaching an all-time high of 208 participants, the first time we've crossed the 200 player threshold! Could 250 be within reach next year? That’s up to you!

Round One Highlights: Top scorers included Hannah Manley with a commanding $640,000 and Alfred Schaebel with $560,000. Winning totals at other tables ranged from $310,000 to $490,000, with most five-player tables requiring around $450,000 to advance.

Round Two Recap: The field narrowed to 43 players, with only the top finisher from each table moving on. Annabelle Houde led the pack with $580,000, closely followed by Samantha Raszewski at $570,000. Other table winners scored between $410,000 and $500,000.

Semifinal Showdown: Eleven players competed across three tables, with only the winners advancing to the Final.

  • Annabelle Houde won her four-player table with $400,000
  • Jefferson Meyer took his with $560,000

Final Table Drama: Jefferson rolled boxcars to claim first turn, though he noted the three-player format felt “very different.” While this GM prefers the trio setup, Jefferson’s spirited play helped make the Final lively and fun.

The Final Battle: A clash of rising stars and a seasoned Young Gun, all three finalists grew up with WBC and showcased top-tier gameplay and sportsmanship.

  • Round 1: Annabelle led with $150,000
  • Round 2: Jefferson edged ahead with $190,000, thanks to a clutch five-roll snagging a $90,000 card
  • Round 3: Noah surged with $230,000
  • Round 4: Noah sealed the win with another $200,000, finishing at $670,000

Final scores:

  1. Noah Heinz - $670,000
  2. Annabelle Houde - $480,000
  3. Jefferson Meyer - $450,000

Congratulations to Noah Heinz, our 2025 WBC Champion! Huge thanks to everyone who participated and made this event unforgettable. We’re already counting down to next year!
