Lewis Captures Third Lemmings Chmpionship!

We had another great turnout this year. Thanks to all who came to ‘Dive with Style!’

We had 3 Semifinal games with 4 players each for a 3-person Final table.

Final

Mike Greason would play the IQ clan, Andy Lewis the Solders, and Linda Pattison ( who won her Semifinal by one point over Valerie Chesnut ) would play the Ritz.

Final Summary:

• Setting the tone early was Janice ( of Linda’s Ritz clan ) by jumping on Mike’s IQ lemming on turn 2
• Karma being what it is, however, Janice was eaten on turn 5!
• Turn 5 also saw Dave ( of Mike’s IQ clan ) making it to the edge
• Turn 6 saw a ‘5’ card come up. Davd smiled, but aggressive Linda played Caution giving Dave only a 3-point dive
• Turn 7 saw Jewel of the Soldier clan eaten
• Turn 8 saw Mike IQ clan getting some payback as they ‘Booed’ Linda Ritz class Jessie off the cliff
• Turn 10 saw an excellent use of ‘Snap Crackel Pop’ by Andy’s Soldier clan. Andy used it to move his lemming back one space to a pellet, they move 5 to the edge. June and Vicki are eaten
• Turn 11 saw Brian of the Soldiers take full advantage of the ‘Snap Crackel Pop’ play by getting a 5-point dive
• Turn 12 saw Linda play ‘Mine All Mike’ to keep the Eagle Dice and move to the Lilo edge. Unfortunately, Lilo was then ‘Eagle Eyed’ to his doom
• Turn 16 – Diane of the Ritz, and Vince of the IQ both use their ‘It’s a 5’ to dive
• Turn 18 – Chad of the Soldiers use their ‘It’s a 5’ to dive
• Turn 20 saw Lettia of the Soldiers do a 4-point dive
• Turn 21 – Jewel comes back with a ‘Noble sacrifice’ for 2 points. Linda then plays ‘Déjà vu’ on Janice and also gets 2 points
• Turn 23 – Double dive – Pina of the IQ for 3 and Mary of the Ritz for 4 ( with a favor pellet )
• Turn 24 – The Ritz bribe the judges for a point
• Turn 25 – Wes ( Soldiers ) is eaten
• Turn 27 – George of the IQ gets a 2-point dive
• Turn 28 – GAME OVER!

Final VP pellet count:

• IQ-5
• Soldiers-3
• Ritz-1

Final Score: Andy Lewis and his Soldiers 18. Mike Greason and the IQ 17, and Linda Pattison’s Ritz Clan 13.
