Welcome to SLAPSHOT, the "unofficial" end to the last four Avaloncons! We're back in our usual place with our usual crew. What other game can you go to where the reading of the rules is a highlight in and of itself? This gathering of crazies continues to grow larger and larger every year. From humble beginnings of only two dozen people in it's first year, this salute to craziness drew to 116 last year. All this by word of mouth (and Keith Hunsinger has some mouth, doesn't he?) Seriously, did you know that Slapshot is the largest single gathering at Avaloncon? Sure, other events have more entrants, but they all use that wimpy "multiple heat" format. We're the only event man (or woman) enough to handle 100+ people all at once. But hey, thats part of the fun.

This year in a special arrangement negotiated by GM Bruce Reiff, Don Greenwood will be making a special appearance in the SLAPSHOT room during the reading of the rules!!!!! (Who knows, we might even get him to play.) Yes, ol' grouchy will be there for all the fun and abuse! If you've never been to SLAPSHOT this will be the year to make it. The beer & pretzel king of games and grumpy to abuse. How can you resist?
